The news of Maths and Economics paper leak has left lakhs of class10 and 12 students feeling dejected. Their joy of finishing these exams was short lived as poor children have to study again for these two subjects. Yes, because the CBSE has rescheduled the exams following reports of a leak of the question papers.
The announcement of re-test has left students as well as their parents angry and frustrated. A student, on the condition of anonymity, said that he was too scared to take the Maths exam again. He studied very hard for the subject and was feeling lucky enough to be able to score atleast the passing marks. “I don’t know if I will be able to get through the Maths exam second time. The thought of revising all the topics once again is sending chills down my spine.”
This boy is not alone, there are thousands of other students who are average in studies and the news has snatched their smiles away. “Our plans for our free time, our dreams, our own time, this news has taken away. The one who is at fault should be punished. Why are we being punished for that one, two or 10 people who have committed this crime? For God sake! We are still small children,” screams a group of students after hearing the news of re-test.
Parents are shattered too. They are too angry to say anything to us (ThekidsLogic team). “Nothing will happen. It seems we are bound to suffer. No matter how much we prepare ourselves and children for the hardships, something else happens which we didn’t even think about.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has “always given importance to fair examinations, has expressed unhappiness about the leak of Class 10 and 12 CBSE papers, which is forcing students to take the exams again. Let’s see what happens. Would anyone be able to reveal India’s corrupted exam system? We can only wait and watch, as always!
