Though India has reacted strongly to the death sentence to former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav by Pakistan but nothing much progress seems to be there. As per claims made by India Jadhav, who is accused of spying by Pakistan, was denied due to legal process. Kulbhushan Jadhav was sentenced to death on April 10, by a Field General Court Martial, a military court consisting of Pakistan army officers and later on the news was confirmed by Pakistan army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa as he was found guilty of “all the charges” as per court of Pakistan.
What is the truth?
Where Pakistan government claims to have found Jadhav during a counterintelligence operation in Balochistan’s Mashkel area on March 3, 2016, the nearby countries Germany and Afghanistan both have supported India’s stand that Kulbhushan is not an agent and these nearby countries are also calling Pakistan’s take on Jadhav as “fake”. The former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf said that the trial of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav was carried out according to prescribed legal procedure. To be noted here that Jadhav has been arrested in March last year in Balochistan and accused of being a Research and Analysis Wing agent.
